Establishment of VICASA Lifelong Learning
Established and operated from the commencing of 2021 with the original name GROUP LEARNING and the motto LEARNING GROUP TOGETHER, the study group is sustained in the form of all members who can exchange, impart knowledge, and correct each other’s mistakes to progress together. This is an appropriate opportunity and environment for anyone yearning to learn English but still hesitates to communicate. Additionally, we respectfully invite those with a certain level of English to engage in doing good deeds, supporting and instructing the learning groups.

VICASA
VICASA: abbreviation of the Pali cluster Vijjā–Caraṇa-Sampanno (Consummate in Knowledge and Conduct). This is one of the Buddha titles, with the sense of complete dhamma theory and practice. We expect that our congregation can diligently attempt to be perfect in learning and applying the Buddha’s teachings.
Simultaneously, VICASA is the name that coincidentally incorporates the dhamma names of the two of us who accompany and evolve this study group, so it also reminds us to endeavor to cultivate the parami of dhamma study and practice with the learners.

LIFELONG LEARNING
LIFELONG LEARNING is an ‘ongoing, voluntary, and self-motivated’ pursuit of knowledge whether in personal or professional contexts, meaning that learning occurs at all times in all places. It should be a continuous learning process directed towards not only providing the individual needs but also that of the relevant community and takes place throughout an individual’s life, ‘from cradle to grave.’ Lifelong learners never stop honing their skills and expanding their knowledge.”
