Ms. Nguyễn Gia Bảo

If anything is worth doing, do it with your whole heart.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.

My name is Nguyễn Gia Bảo, Dhamma name Viên Châu, born in 1996 in Ho Chi Minh City. I am currently pursuing a doctoral program in education and am dedicated to teaching English to Vietnamese people with the spirit of developing and promoting Vietnamese intellect.

I love the Vietnamese people; they are hardworking, kind-hearted, and intelligent. Personally, I want to contribute a small part to the development of society, helping all Vietnamese people to maximize their thinking and creative abilities. Creating a community that loves learning, cultivates knowledge, and supports each other in development is my wish. I have been, am, and will continue to strive every day to support those who love learning, are passionate about developing their thinking, and wish to contribute positively to society.

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

As a dedicated English teacher, I challenge my students with thought-provoking questions to assess their proficiency while fostering curiosity and critical thinking. I incorporate Self-Determination Theory (Marylène Gagné, 2014) to inspire intrinsic motivation, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning. By applying microlearning techniques, I break down complex, rigorous tests into manageable segments, enabling learners to process information effectively and approach assessments with confidence.

I also cultivate skeptical thinking and quick reflexes, guiding students to formulate precise, well-reasoned responses. Additionally, I integrate insights from “A Theory of Individualism and Collectivism” (Michele J. Gelfand, 2012) to promote both self-directed learning and collaborative development, helping students strike a balance between independence and teamwork.

With a wealth of knowledge gained from educational research and hands-on experience, my mission is to empower students to become confident, determined individuals who strive for their ideal future. My greatest joy comes from sharing knowledge and witnessing others achieve their goals.
